Stephen G. Limmer for more than thirty years has concentrated in municipal and real property law.  He has served as Village Attorney for the Villages of Great Neck, Kings Point, Port Washington North and Roslyn Estates, which the firm represents as general counsel, and, is counsel to The Water Authority of Great Neck North and various boards of appeals, planning boards, architecture review committees, and a landmarks preservation commission. Over the years, he has served as special counsel to real estate developers and to other municipalities within and including, the County of Nassau.  His municipal and real property work includes litigation and appeals.  Mr. Limmer also deals in commercial litigation and lease and contract work in the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.

Mr. Limmer was graduated from Hofstra University in 1967 and received his juris doctorate degree from St. John's University in 1971.  From 1971 through 1973, he served as a confidential law clerk to the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, New York.  He is a member of the New York State Municipal Law Committee and has lectured on zoning.

Mr. Limmer has been active with Temple Beth-El of Great Neck since 1973.  He served as President from 1987 through 1991 and remains a member of its Board of Trustees.  Among his other activities, he is a co-founder and an active participant in AMJID (American Muslims and Jews in Dialogue) and an American Ballet Theatre balletomane.
