Arfa Mahmud joined the firm in 2007 as an associate. She received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1995 and her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 1999. She concentrates her practice in the firm’s trusts and estates department. She began her legal career in private practice and, before joining the firm, acted as a trust officer and fiduciary specialist in the trust department of a large national bank. Her most recent position was as the manager of the trust department of Cardinal Bank headquartered in Virginia.
